Migration within same project

I wanted to confirm if it is possible to migrate tickets between two workitem types withing the same project?
want the details to flow from RDQuota to PublicPreProd

I don't see why not! Although we have never done any testing on it.

The flag you mentioned FilterWorkItemsThatAlreadyExistInTarget is already set to False

Ok, then:

Either the work items already exist, or they are excluded by the query.

The log will tell you which! It will say how many work items it found and it will say how many it will process.

Let me refresh the usecase for you.
I am trying to copy the work item within the same project but different workitemtypes.
My configuration file for this use case - Source and Target is same

The filter existing workitem is set to false:

The source and the target workitemtypes:

Still skipping the workitems, log below

The only reason I believe that It will find the existing work item is that it already has a valid "ReflectedWorkItemId" field value for this context.

Can you check the "source/Target" and see if this field is already populated?
