Recent Update Broke WorkItemMigration?

After recent update Im attempting the same WorkItemMigration config Ive been using and its not working anymore. Its giving me

'Userstomap is null' at WorkItemMigrationContext Line 277

and if I brute force it then I get

'targetWorkItem is null' at WorkItemMigrationContext line 549

Is this a me issue?

I can't tell without seeing the configuration!

You may be getting the error due to a missing file... the default for UserMapping is:

C:\\temp\\userExport.json

so if you create this file and add:

{}

It will pass... I'll push a fix so its not needed.

Fix should be in Preview very soon, and Ill pass it state to prod as we have no other changes in there

Downloaded the preview and the usermapping issue seems to be fixed however its throwing an error:
