Replace example links with example.com or .example

There are many example links in the documentation and code that use fake urls on domains that could exist. For example `breakingnews .com`, `surprise .me`, `foo .com`, `blah .com`, `response1 .com`, `response2 .com` etc. It would be better to use `example.com` or anything ending in `.example` like `breakingnews.example`.
