Dropdown onchange event closes the popover

Hi,

I have a drop down/select option inside the popover html template. Whenever I change the drop down option it closes/hides the popover in IE 11. It works in Chrome and Firefox. Please note that it does not close for other activities such as typing in the text box or clicking on the text etc. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
