Virus total accusing trojan. Is it a false positive?

Way to reproduce:

Download the newest release from (https://github.com/noisetorch/NoiseTorch/releases)

Unpack the:
NoiseTorch_x64_v0.12.2.tgz

And drag the noisetorch bin to the virustotal window on your browser.

No reason to believe they are not false positives. I see no malicious behavior, and the binary hasn't changed in 3+ years...

Would you happen to know what the malicious code used to do? The one that was in the code before?

I'm also thinking what you said. That they are likely false positives. I really don't want to reinstall my system.

If you know what the malicious thing did I would appreciate. I'll look for the malicious behavior and If I see nothing I'll just let it be. I like the program (NoiseTorch) and also I didn't see anything funny on the connections on my firewall or programs on the task manager, etc. (I might be coping haha)

Still on the note of the program being nice: Is it abandoned now? If so, that's really sad. I couldn't find an easy alternative to NoiseTorch.

No, but there's no apparent rush to add new features.

Shouldn't need an alternative if this works. Easy Effects serves a different purpose, but may be useful to you.
