Swiper with react-js-spatial-navigation

I'm implementing Swiper with a fork of react-js-spatial-navigation, for navigating the app on TVs and such.
While I'm able to move through each slide using keyboard arrows, I'm not able to figure out how to make the slides move so the :focus 'ed slide is always on left, nor at least make the partially visible slide at the end show completely when it's in :focus.
What might I be missing?
