slideToClickedSlide hiding slide out of view

I have a swiper sat next to a <h4>, but slideToClickedSlide won't bring the slide into view, sometimes leaving it hidden out of view to the left

    const swiper = new Swiper(className, {
            direction: 'horizontal',
            slidesPerView: 'auto',
            slideToClickedSlide: true,
            navigation: {
                prevEl: `.icon-angle-left`,
                nextEl: `.icon-angle-right`,
            }
        });

Any ideas?

I don't think Swiper is taking the left bounds of the container into account correctly.

Have a workaround:

  swiper.on('click', instance => {

              const slide = instance.clickedSlide;

              if (slide.getBoundingClientRect().left < instance.el.getBoundingClientRect().left) {
                  instance.slideTo(instance.clickedIndex);
              }
          });
