Expected preventInteractionOnTransition functionality?

Hi there,

I am doing some custom transitions for my Swiper and want to disable swiping, clicking next/prev until the transition has completed in full.

I am thinking of using preventInteractionOnTransition which says it does this:

When enabled it won't allow to change slides by swiping or navigation/pagination buttons during transition

I can confirm that it's not working asd I expected it to, and I'm wondering if it's because of my config (stripped back version):

new Swiper(carousel, {
        modules: [Autoplay, Navigation],
        spaceBetween: 0,
        slidesPerView: 1,
        speed: 1200,
        loop: carouselSlides.length > 1,
        virtualTranslate: true,
        watchOverflow: true,

Any thoughts?
