Is this the expected behavior with ChatGPT-4 and localdocs?

gpt4all v2.7.3

If I use the ChatGPT-4 model and gpt4all a question with localdocs enabled, I often get an "I'm sorry, but I couldn't find any information on ______", however, I also get "Show References" after the response which clearly shows the references I was looking for. It does appear that the model is looking at the local docs (I see a progress bar indicating the local docs are being searched).

However, If I load up a local model, say Hermes, and ask it the same question, I get the answer I was looking for and the references.

Is there an additional command that is needed for Chat GPT-4 to reference the data in localdocs?
