egs_view error

When running egs_view slab.egsinp slab.ptracks in the built-in Windows WSL, the following error occurs: egs_view: symbol lookup error: egs_view: undefined symbol: _ZN9EGS_Input13takeInputItemERKSsb.
However, I found that “strings /home/pheobe/EGS/EGSnrc/HEN_HOUSE/bin/EGSnrc_first/egs_view | grep takeInputItem“ have the result "_ZN9EGS_Input13takeInputItemERKSsb"

Usually this occurs if egs_view was compiled with a different version of EGSnrc. Have you tried compiling egs_view locally, instead of using the distributed executable for egs_view from the GUI installer? This might be the way to go, but you'll need Qt installed in order to compile egs_view.
