Multiple CMD popups on refresh

Current Behavior

Multiple CMD windows pop up when Nx Console refreshes the project. This issue existed in the past, but was fixed for a while, and came back recently.

This same thing happens for us when saving files again. Not sure if it's the same issue, happy to post a new bug if it is not.

Same here, on v22.0.2 and 22.1.3.

Same here.

Tried removing all extensions, reinstalling vscode, git, wsl & NodeJS. even disabled git in vscode and cleared all vscode configs.

When stopping the nx daemon these flickers of CMD stop and when the daemon starts they return. They happen every time a file changes.
Debugging via activity monitor and found out the command thats being run is "git rev-parse HEAD".

Any solutions? this is preventing my team from working..

This seems to be related more to Nx itself than to Nx Console.

In my case, it happens when I use Yarn PnP. Once I switch to nodeLinker: node-modules, terminal popups don't show up

Can any of you figure out which version of nx this was introduced in for you?
There has to be a commit that changes an nx version where before it didn't happen and after it does. That would be the most helpful thing to get this resolved quickly.
