Unify spo file check logic to match all other cases of "four or more points" for a polygon

Julia pointed out that there's a slight inconsistency in the spo file check for "at least three points" vs. the check in all other cases of "four or more points" for a polygon. This should be made consistently expect that polygons comprise four or more points.
