Can't open files to select boot ans flash

So i have a google pixel 7, and i was using firebird on my xiaomi pad 6 but for convinience, i wanted to have it on my phone so i can do the calculations while writing stuff down. But when i installed it on my phone i can't select any files to allow the emulation tu run, every time i try it just crashes and after a few trys it restarts the phone on its own. Any help?

If the phone crashes that sounds like a massive bug in Android.

Can you get adb logs?

Yeah so i wasnt sure what i should get from the logs so i just did a full logcat while trying to open the boot1 or flash until the phone rebooted. you can find it below, thanks for trying to help.

All I can see in the logs is that a shutdown is already pending and then firebird also stops. I don't even see firebird starting or the file selection dialog opening. No clue what's happening.

Not sure. Maybe try logcat again but start it before you open firebird?

Can i do anything about it or is it a problem with the app itself?

FWICT firebird is innocent, it's a bug in the Android documents UI app that's possibly triggered by a deleted (?) file in the recent documents. You can try to install some alternative file picker or somehow clear recent documents?
