Android 15 - 16 KB Page Size Support

By November 1st, 2025, Google has announced that all the native libraries should have 16kb support and currently react-native-keys library does not have it and we get the following warning in the play console for these native files.

base/lib/arm64-v8a/libreact-native-keys.so
base/lib/x86_64/libreact-native-keys.so

When will we get support for this for the Android 15+ versions?

libclib.so
libcrypto.so
libpbkdf2_native.so
libpolarssl.so
libsecurity.so
libtmlib.so 4 KB Load alignment but 16 KB is required

After applying the #107 fix, we’re still encountering issues related to libcrypto.so. Could you please confirm if there are any ongoing plans to address this, or suggest any recommended workaround?

I created new react-native project, then add react-native-keys.
libreact-native-keys.so currently support 16KB

no warning at all

I’ve created a new React Native project and integrated the react-native-keys library. After applying the patch from your PR, the issue with libreact-native-keys.so not supporting 16KB page size appears to be resolved, there are no related compile-time or runtime complaints now.

For reference, I’m using Android Studio Narwhal | 2025.1.1 Patch 1.

However, I’m still seeing the following warning at runtime, which I’ve attached below. Could you please help clarify if this is expected or if any additional steps are needed to suppress or resolve this warning?

@ngocle2497 Based on your snapshot and the Android Studio version you're using, I was encountering the same behavior on that version as well. However, when I ran the build on an emulator with 16KB page size support, it started complaining with the following warning:

This app isn’t 16 KB compatible. ELF alignment check failed. This app will be run using page size compatible mode. For best compatibility, please recompile the application with 16 KB support. For more information, see https://developer.android.com/16kb-page-size

Just a small suggestion—if possible, please consider upgrading your Android Studio to the latest stable version. This might help in reproducing and debugging the issue more effectively.

@ankit2saurabh did you try without expo. My test app is lightweight project with react-native cli
