Quarterly NUM Token Burn Procedure & Execution

This issue tracks the quarterly scheduled burn of NUM tokens to manage circulating supply and maintain tokenomics integrity for the Numbers Network.

Scope

• Execute NUM token burn for the current quarter (Q3 2025)
• Source wallet(s): Treasury and/or operational wallets as specified by finance/ops
• Target burn address: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD (or designated burn contract per governance)
• Amount & rationale: To be confirmed by finance, based on quarterly review and supply policy

Execution Steps

1. Pre-flight checks: Validate wallet balances, confirm signer availability, RPC/network health
2. Signer coordination: Schedule multisig execution window, notify all signers
3. Transaction craft: Prepare burn transaction (send NUM to burn address or call burn contract)
4. Broadcast & verify: Execute transaction, confirm on-chain via Blockscout [link]
5. Post-burn validation: Confirm total supply delta, document transaction hash, update supply dashboard

Communication Plan

• Announce burn event completion in official channels
• Update documentation and supply dashboard
