Issue Description
While reading the live DISCOVER Cookbook, I noticed that several checklist-heavy sections (for example, Venue Selection & On-Site Services, Event Registration, and Inclusive Conference Checklist) include many actionable recommendations written as tasks.
Examples from the site include items such as:
1)“Reserve seats in rooms for folks who might need it (wheelchair, crutches, cane, etc.)”
2)“Make sure the building is wheelchair accessible”
3)“Ask registrants if they have any additional accessibility needs”
These recommendations are clear and valuable, but they do not specify who is responsible for carrying them out (e.g., lead organizers, volunteers, venue staff, accessibility coordinators), nor do they provide context about ownership at a section level.
Proposed Solution
Add lightweight context without changing existing guidance. This could be done by:
1)Adding a brief note at the start of checklist-heavy sections indicating the intended audience or typical responsible roles
2)Including a short preface explaining that checklist items may be handled by different members of the organizing team depending on event structure
3)Optionally adding non-prescriptive role hints for a small number of items where responsibility may be unclear
This would improve clarity and actionability while keeping the guidance flexible and easy to maintain.
