Terminal software: Termux 0.118.3

After copying some text and then pressing undo, it doesn't do anything. It only undoes it after pressing undo the second time.

Steps to reproduce

1. Type some text in the prompt
2. Hit escape to change to vi mode
3. Type yy to copy the line
4. Press u for undo
   Observation: It does nothing
5. Press u again.
   Observation: it finally undoes
