snapshot cleanup not happening

We are running cain as a cronjob in EKS and have observed that cain sometimes fails to delete snapshots from the disk which is in turn resulting into disk full issue. We are unable to find any error logs if the tool fails to cleanup the snapshot from the disk. I tried finding some setting for this but no luck. Let me know if there is a workaround for this.
