Status: Alpha Label, Upcoming Move

First of all, thanks for this excellent module! Also enjoying the many skills in the other repo.

Since the module isn't production ready I was wondering what the steps are to achieve that. I'm starting a small scale greenfield project for work and was planning on integrating Better Auth into the Nuxt application. Obviously your package is a great fit. But because of company policy (and common sense I guess!) I'm wary of introducing a package where the author himself says not to use in production 😅

Are there any big missing features, bugs or instabilities that are blocking its transition to a production ready module? And if so, what's the roadmap looking like? I know this is clearly a side project, so no pressure! I'm thankful for your work either way!

Hey! Thanks for the thoughtful question.

I’m currently in conversation with the Nuxt team about moving this module into the @nuxtjs organization. That review takes some time (they need to validate the module and may request small API/behavior tweaks), so I’m keeping the “alpha” label for now to signal that a move/rename is coming — not that I’m planning breaking changes.

I’m already running this in production on multiple projects and it’s been stable.

If I were you, I’d still use it, just be aware there may be a migration step when it moves to `@nuxtjs/better-authz. I’ll do everything I can to keep that as smooth as possible.

Thanks for the fast reply! You've put my worries to rest and I'll be using the module going forward. If you're using it in production yourself then that's enough endorsement for me! I love that you'll be able to move it into the @nuxtjs organization, it's definitely worth it.
