[bug] middleware can not get response

Description

I upgraded to version 0.6.0 and tried it out, but it seems the middleware can't access the response.

Reproduction

For example, when I triggered list prompts in mcp inspect, I saw the response, but after response = await next(), log response returned undefined.

@HugoRCD I checked yesterday, and the problem is here: the MCP SDK sends the message directly without going through this response process.
