@seanbudd and all: FYI, there is already a simple calculator add-on in the store, although incompatible with 2025.x.

Accepting this request we would have two very similar add-ons:

• ID: "simple_calculator" vs "SimpleCalculator"
• Visible name: "Simple Calculator" vs "Simple calculator" (beware the case of the "C")
• compatibilit rangey: 2021.3 to 2025.3 vs 2019.3 to 2024.1
• Author: "Volkan Ozdemir Software Services bilgi@volkan-ozdemir.com.tr" (@integrumart ) vs ""mesteranas anasformohammed@gmail.com""" (@mesteranas)

I do not think that their is a specific requirement (technical or not) to decline this add-on submission to the Store. But I'd prefer all stackholders to be aware of this situation and discuss between each other if needed:

• would it be worth both add-on author join their efforts to develop only one add-on?
• if the two add-ons are kept, would it be worth find another name for the new add-on to avoid confusion?

We should uninstall this plugin so that I may provide the latest version; this will ensure there are no compatibility issues.

@CyrilleB79 - the add-on ID system is designed to avoid conflicts like this. Thanks for catching this. We would reject this add-on if it was resubmitted for being misleading. @integrumart - please come up with a unique name and add-on ID for this
