I've wanted to try mini.animate module but found a weird behavior when doing centered jumps.

I've fixed my <C-f> bind according to mini.animate docs:

The problem is that I still have a weird animation behavior when jumping from a start of a document to center:

Yeah, I can reproduce. The reason this seems to happen is that centering afterwards itself triggers an animation.

To be perfectly honest, scrolling animation from 'mini.animate' is far from perfect if you want to follow it with zz. The suggested solution somewhat works with n and N, but might have troubles with <C-f> / <C-d> / etc.

My suggestion would be to either not do the centering or disable scroll animation entirely (however painful it is for me to say this).
