Is Telescope supposed to put nvim in insert mode?

When I call require("telescope.builtin").lsp_document_symbols() and select one option, nvim is moving to INSERT mode.

Is this expected?

Using neovim head.

EDIT: I noticed it happens with any call. If I call find_files and select one, it will open the buffer in insert mode.

EDIT 2: It is always when I open telescope...

I figured out the reason but I have no idea what is causing it.

I'm using the legacy previewers and if I disable them will work as expected.
