Configurable serial console

I have a Raspberry PI Zero 2 that I need to have a program on communicate over UART serial with another device. Currently, nixos-raspberrypi adds a kernel command line argument to configure the serial interface over UART as a console, meaning this serial interface is unusable by userspace programs. Could this kernel parameter be moved to an option instead?

You can just do this:

boot.kernelParams = lib.mkForce [];
