Is anyone noticing speed decay when using DeepSort?

I have noticed that as I run DeepSort on long videos, that the number of frames per second is getting lower and lower. I have mapped the speed of the tracker and noticed that it gets slower with time. By the end of a 10 minute video it was performing at half the speed if not less.

Did anyone notice any speed decay when running Deepsort or was it stable and consistent?

It's because it uses under the hood "hungarian algorithm" which by itself not that efficient since the complexity is O(N^3).
Since DEEPSORT uses previous tracks it accumulates through the time.
That should answer your question my friend))

And potential solution is to write additional code for removal of the unused or missleading tracks, I think it should help to speed up the process.

Tracks are deleted if they aren't matched for 30 consecutive frames, so that shouldn't be the issue.

@batiamida Tracks are deleted if they aren't matched for 30 consecutive frames, so that shouldn't be the issue.

Haven't noticed in the code. My bad then.
