   Issues - OData TC

   A request dependsOn another from a different atomicity group #2150
   The current wording implies that the atomicity group ID must occur in dependsOn in addition to the request ID. Unclear why it was specified in this way. Mike suggests to remove this requirement for 4.02 services but advise clients to specify it for maximum interoperability. Heiko will check the feasibility of such a change in the SAP implementation and prepare a pull request.

   Clarification requested: What does the spec mean by "non-null path"? #2151
   TC agrees that a navigation property path must always end with a navigation property or an entity-valued term cast. This ensures that, relative to an instance (of entity or complex type), such paths evaluate to an entity. The value of a nullable term or term property with Type="Edm.NavigationPropertyPath" can be null rather than a navigation property path. The "non-null" attribute in the current specification text is therefore misleading, Heiko will prepare a pull request to rephrase this. Empty navigation property paths (as used the SAP vocabulary for side effects) are not allowed, Heiko will address this.

   This pull request adds "meta model" HTML to the docs folder to prepare for publishing, and adds the tool to generate the HTML from a machine-readable JSON representation of the CSDL meta model. TC reviews the HTML document and finds that the concepts of children and attributes are inspired by the CSDL XML meta model and differ somewhat in the CSDL JSON meta model. The discussion will be continued in the next meeting(s).
