   Regarding OData 4 Java library #2159, Mike notes that the Microsoft Defender team wanted to contribute to Olingo and are now working on a fork. They did not get much traction while the project was owned by SAP but might now be interested in taking over ownership of the project. Mike will send more information to Heiko.

   Minutes are approved.

4. Issues [8:15]
   Issues - OData TC

   Extra formatting tool for ABNF links #2130
   Christof believes all of the technical issues with the railroad diagrams have been fixed.
   Heiko moves to merge the pull request. Christof seconds. No objections, motion passes.

   Access a property of the result of a non-composable function #400
   TC agrees to the text proposed by Mike. Mike will re-style the hyperlinks in the usual format [OData-VocCap].

   It is not clear if the entities in a collection returned by a function always have an entity-id #376
   TC agrees to the use case of addressing a collection of non-persisted entities with keys by invoking an operation. TC discusses whether the operation can also be an action with side-effects and what it means for the keys to be stable across invocations. Entities with the same key from different invocations

   • can be correlated if the invocation parameters are the same and there are no side-effects (example: next week's weather forecast for a given place)
   • may be correlated even if certain invocation parameters differ (example: meteorological weather forecast vs. observational weather forecast)
   • may be correlated even in the presence of certain side-effects (example: action that obtains a weather forecast behind a paywall, the action parameters control the payment)
   • may cease to be correlated merely due to side-effects (preliminary example: financial portfolio forecast behind a paywall where the payment reduces the value of the portfolio); the distinction between side effects and exogenous changes is not clear.

   Mike will create a pull request with a wording that endorses at least the first bullet point: correlation if the action or function parameters are unchanged.

   A request dependsOn another from a different atomicity group #2150
   TC reviews pull request Atomicity group of prerequisite requests optional in dependsOn #2164. The text does not make clear whether a dependency on an atomicity group is equivalent to a dependency on one request from that atomcity group. Mike will propose an alternative wording.
