Use of uninitialized value in concatenation

Hi, first of all thanks for this great script!
I have a problem when I submit requests with username as this
/xdccget queue this|is|user|name 2

Error: Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /home/pi/.irssi/scripts/autorun/xdccget.pl line 39

There is a way to fix it?

Besides line 39, it's also on line 280:

And this is also appearing:
