TypeScript cell mode (type stripping)

TypeScript is very popular (and useful); it would be nice to at least have type stripping so TypeScript works, even without type validation.

I really love to see this issue created.

Sorry for the spam, but I've been using Observable from time to time since 2019, to prototype stuff or ideas, and lack of TypeScript has always been a friction. (For writing in Observable itself, but also when moving code from/to it)
