First of all, I love this, I have been a long time active user of observable for 5+ years and I am really excited about this.

The first thing I did while trying the desktop app was to ask it to create a file upload to load a CSV. After that I loaded the CSV and I asked to sort by "the name column or one that is as close as that" (the real title was component_name) and it failed to do this (started to write code uninformed by the file or the table it created).

Yes! AI can currently only see the code, but we’re working on giving it the ability to see the live values of variables in the notebook, as well as displayed content. This will greatly improve AI’s ability to understand the values that you are working with, including the shape of data in files.
