Custom notes mappings

Hi, is there a way to add a custom function to notes mappings ?

Here's what I have in mind

Suppose I already have a deeply nested note, like /work/company/project/feature/step1
I want to:

• open notes picker
• type feat or step1
• select that path in the picker
• get prompted for note name (step2)
• create a new note in feature directory instead of manually typing the whole path

does it make sense ?

I've read this issues and I'm not sure I understand.

If you use ObsidianNew to create a new note you have completion activated (tab by default?) and can drill down into subfolders. Is this what you want?

(I don't use folders a lot. Maybe the current feature set is not sufficient for highly nested workspaces.)
