Why does link completion substitute a link with dashes instead of spaces?

If I am trying to type a link such as [[Link to another note]] and I select the auto completion available from blink.cmp I end up with a pasted link looking like this: [[link-to-another-note]].

I feel like this is related somehow to https://github.com/orgs/obsidian-nvim/discussions/227
