Rendering of 'canceled' tasks?

Hey, so far tasks are rendered as unresolved or resolved (with a check mark if [x]) - or removed if I do not plan to work on them anymore.

But I would not like to remove tasks that I don't plan to work on in the next few weeks, but keep them - more as a reminder - and just gray them out and not have a check mark set.

Is that possible?
