Option for deleting closed tasks ?

I haven't found a way/option to delete tasks that are completed (crossed out) .

Is this planned e.g. after 5 days of finishing?

Hi, No it’s not possible.

There are existing requests, but I doubt they will be implemented because there are already several other community plugins that do this.

For future reference, this section of Discussions should not be used for new Discussions.

If it’s a general question, use Q&A instead. I will move this one.

I do not use them personally, so you will need to experiment yourself. Do back your vault up first, or use a test vault to experiment.

But if you go Browse community plugins in Obsidian settings and search for tags you will see several.

Or you can view the search results online.

A mechanism to do this was released in Tasks 7.8.0. - see the documentation.
