Option to delete task on completion

I have several notes that contain todo lists of recurring tasks; e.g. things I need to do every week/month. It would be great to be able to have it just update the todo time to the next recurrence rather than completing and duplicating the list. some of these lists with 10+ items quickly have 20/30/40 items within just a few weeks.

Alternatively, maybe a button/action to delete completed tasks from a note?

I am not sure. Adding it is probably not the most of the work. Support and maintenance of the feature is where most effort would go. Furthermore, I don't think deleting tasks is at the core of the Tasks plugin. When you manage tasks, you probably want to have a look at "what have I done today" or "what have I done last week" to get a sense of accomplishment 🤔

it's the volume of them that I'm worried about. For now I will stick to bash magic, but maybe there's room to make it into a standalone plugin 🤷‍♂️
