Popup reminder that event started not comming anymore

Hi there,

recently when an event should remind me on a specific time the popup is missing.
What did I do/test:

• popups from other plugins will arrive as normal
• updated tasks plugin
• tasks plugin de- and reinstalled (with default values tested)
• in a new vault without any other interferring plugins
• an upcoming time as well as a past time
• on my mobile phone
• on my linux kubuntu laptop

Maybe it's a bug, but that behaviour is since a couple of days I guess and since nobody asked for the reason maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I used the following syntax:

• Task_1 ⏰ 2025-09-09 09:01 📅 2025-09-09
• Task_2 🔁 every week on day ⏰ 09:01 2025-09-09 📅 2025-09-09
• Task_3 🔁 every week on day ⏰ 2025-09-09 09:01 📅 2025-09-09

Does anyone has the same problem, a clue or something I can test as well to get the original behaviour?

Hi, I don't know what has changed at your end, but the Tasks plugin does not do reminders, and never has.

Likely you are using the Reminders plugin.

Please read it carefully - You need to make sure you put the reminder before all your other Tasks plugin fields.

Note: I have received reports that the Reminders plugin works better than the two Warnings in that page currently say, though.
