Suggestions: Colored Labels, List Height Restrictions, Grids, Multiselect, ect.

As a foreword - I'd like to note that I'm 1000% aware of the realities of this project and the scope of my requests - I want to be super up front about how thankful and incredible this plugin is already. Having tried every other solution for a month now it was THIS plugin that made it so that I can get back to working instead of trying to resolve how to go from second brain and designing to proper project and time management. I hope that my requests aren't perceived as annoying or in any way act as feedback that the plugin isn't good enough. I find these tools to be incredibly well thought out and versatile - the filtering, sorting, entry options - they're genuinely fantastic and a delight to use. With that said, I do have a few suggestions that I think are worth consideration.

Labels

I'd personally prefer that the labels be placed below the Title of the card, and that these are always centered and no longer than necessary (more like COMPLETE and less like Fire which is offset to the left and longer than necessary)

I do quite like how the dates are handled in Trello as well - just a small bit of text.

The labels don't necessarily need to have colors - I'm aware that I can make that happen on my own, it's just a nice workflow enhancer if supported via the same rules that apply the colored side bars.. speaking of which..

Coloring the Card

I'd like to be able to change the color of the card - not just adding a bar to the left of it (albeit I think a bar on top or bottom of the card would also be very helpful, or even a full border?)

Lists Are Too Long

• Allow for a maximum height to be specified, anything beyond that is held within a scrolling container, as I believe Trello handles it?
• You can't drag cards from one list to another if the list isn't onscreen (if List A is very long and List B isn't, and your card requires scrolling so far down that you can't even see List B anymore, you can't move the card to List B from List A without slowly dragging that card up List A a bunch because there's no panning when the cursor is near the edge of the screen or by scrolling)

Grids

I'd like an option for Lists to go from Left to Right until they'd be offscreen, then create a new row of lists below the current row.

Collapsible Lists

Two options that I'd like to see available:

1. Horizontal Collapse: All cards are hidden, The text becomes Vertical, the list becomes 1 character wide and only as long as necessary to write out the text - cutting off if the maximum length is met (probably with a ...)

2. Vertical Collapse: The list simply hides all of its' cards - and I'd like an option to make either of these collapsing options enabled by default when the Board View is opened, possibly with a filter that I could use?)

List Colors?

I could see this being useful, possibly with a different color for the top of the list header / banner and maybe even a border color around the body of the list?

Multiselect

Boards

Being able to select several cards at once and move them would be great - same for the lists

Tables

Selecting multiple entries and deleting or typing to fill them in would be very helpful

Some additional notes on the cards

Popup View

I'd like the ability to have a popup view with a description shown when I click on the card - like Trello - with clickable obsidian links. It would be a large improvement over what I currently have which is a great workflow but heavily relies on constantly holding down Ctrl - even when the goal is to just open up Obsidian Canvas - I have to make a new note just to stick a link to my obsidian canvas inside of it, then I have to go to the card, hover while holding ctrl, then click the link inside of the hover menu - I'd quite like to just be able to click on the card but..

Clickable Links on Cards

I can't get Obsidian links to work as displayed Fields on Cards - they're just shown as text, unlike the Name field

Ability to easily Rename Cards

I have a Title Field but unless I want to rename every card - which I don't, I'm okay with the names of most cards - I have no way of saying "Use Name as Fallback for Title Field" but.. also, the links don't really work so I'd lose functionality if I changed the names this way.

Custom Card Layout Styles

I'm not sure if there's a method of enabling me to style my cards such that the layout can be as I want it to be - say that I want my Title at the top, Labels below it, Due date at the bottom-Left, custom fields also need assigned, and so on - I think that would also be very helpful.

Table Cell Colors

The other suggestion that someone made was #947 and I concur, but with a few additions / adjustments - I'd like to be able to change my cells to be a color automatically based on the data within them, and perhaps even have an every-other-row be lighter-darker as a means of breaking things up, optionally a light-dark checkerboard pattern I suppose - this would be in addition to whatever custom colors are selected, mind you - it would just apply a darkening to half of them or a lightening idk which - probably has to be both at times because white can't become lighter and black can't become darker. Google Sheets does this in case you'd like an example?
