Improve test speed

Nothing has been done about it and the tests are still pretty slow but I'd say it's low priority while we're not doing much active work on the subgraph. I'm happy to quickly remove the unnecessary await sleep() statements that are in a lot of the tests, which might speed it up a bit without requiring a lot of work
