Plugin is being used in the latest version of WordPress but the maintained version is now the fork available here:

https://github.com/forumone/openid-connect-wp-dist

We are looking to get an updated version out with just some general dependency updates but no new features or fixes at this time.

If you don't use Composer for installing plugins then you may want to install the Git Updater plugin to pull and update the releases directly from GitHub.
