Dribdat,Dribdat,"An open source app to help organize short sprints and hackathons, used to document our activities with open licenses (Creative Commons), build on top of community best practices (School of Data pipeline), and spread good governance principles (Hack Code of Conduct). MIT licensed, based on Frictionless Data and Schema.org standards, dribdat bootstraps our data wrangling, automates event workflows (announce an event - publish challenges - form teams - develop projects) and supports our channels (social media sharing, digital signage, summary reports). Connect to ongoing event series powered by dribdat, support our Open Collective, and please don't hesitate to get in touch to get help plugging dribdat into your activism for Open Knowledge.",https://dribdat.cc,Civic Tech,Switzerland,"French, German, Italian, English",Ongoing, dribdat.png, dribdat,

Rutgers,Garden State Open Data Index (GSODI),"This project has two components: 1) The GSODI report on open data concepts, open data + AI and policy recommendations and 2) The GSODI index portal. The Garden State Open Data Index (GSODI) 2023 report identifies concepts, strategies, principles, and policies to enhance the “availability, accessibility, usability and governance of open data.” The GSODI is a mechanism that presents an ‘integrated view’ and rich metadata on the information ecosystem in New Jersey and is globally extensible. The GSODI report provides recommendations for ‘improving the effectiveness and efficiency associated with open data initiatives’ by integrating metadata information on ‘open-data portals and open-data datasets in a cohesive manner’. The searchable GSODI portal is expected to ‘serve as a complementary and collaborative mechanism to existing open data infrastructure’ and does not intend to host datasets or in any way replace the many open data portals. Instead, it is expected to augment these open data portals and increase the findability of open data.",https://bloustein.rutgers.edu/opendata/,Open Data,United States,English,Ongoing,Rutgers-logo.png,garden_state_open_data_index,Y
