🕐 How I allocate my time / prioritize

My time on CodeCompanion will be prioritized on:

1. PRs that fix bugs/issues
2. Fixing bugs/issues
3. PRs that implement or directly impact the roadmap below
4. Roadmap
5. Other PRs

Note

I will continue to be strict in what I deem to be a bug or an issue, including wontfix. To manage my time as effectively as possible, I will now be closing any tickets that fail to recreate the issue

📌 Planned Roadmap

1. Tool parity with Copilot Chat
2. Integrate with Agent CLI tools
3. Memory - Allow context to be loaded into the chat buffer
4. ACP improvements - Adapter tests, diff fix in Anthropic
5. Adapter's builtin tools - Allow users to access an LLMs built-in tools
6.. Background strategy - The ability to call an LLM and receive a response, in the background
7. ACP improvements - Improve the UI of tool output. Add additional adapters. Add model support when it becomes stable
8. Better prompt templates - The ability to have prompts defined in a markdown file to be used in chats
9. Refactor according to new philosophy - Remove support for other diff plugins. Refactor tools API. Remove features that should be extensions such as the SuperDiff
10. Modes - The addition of an agent mode from Copilot Chat for a better agentic and tool use operations
