Hey Chris. Really good question. We don't document this at all. My advice, press Copilot is one of the only adapters where the model's aren't hard coded. The rest you can just search for the adapter you're using. Regarding the changing of an adapter: 2025-12-15.22_40_19.-.Ghostty.mp4It should look like this. |

I'd like to change the model I'm using with the
copilotadapter;I've discovered I can configure it by adding a
modelkey to my config, something like this:But I'm just not sure what to put in that slot, nor am I sure how to find it.
I read in a few spots that upon changing the adapter CC should ask me which model I want to use, but that didn't seem to happen to me.
Is there some command I can run to list the models?
I also found that the source code was calling:
https://api.githubcopilot.com/modelsBut I don't know where to get my token for calling that; and would love a simple command (also I'd rather not dig through the source code for each adapter I may use :) )
Thanks!
