Weird behavior of chat buffer after upgrading to v18.0.0

I am facing a weird behavior of chat buffer after upgrading to version v18.0.0. I've read this released and following this upgrading guide

I've added the `fetch` slash command with a keymap of `<C-g>` (Control+g) in insert mode, following the same pattern as the other slash commands (`buffer`, `file`, and `rules`). This allows you to quickly trigger the fetch command while in insert mode in the CodeCompanion chat.

2. Second, after AI response, I didn't see any file changed (even the YOLO mode was enabled globally), so I asked AI another question that I don't see any changed files? like below:

Nothing has changed in v18.0.0 regarding tools and function calling. I strongly suspect this is just coincidence and the fact you're using Sonnet. Anthropic seems to be the most unreliable of all LLM vendors out there when it comes to function calling. Very hit and miss.

Have you tried with another vendor and model in v18 and v17.33?
