need help with setting up the custom color theme!!

im confused about the snippet mentioned in the readme:

  themes = {
    vaporwave = "~/.config/nvim/lua/plugins/colors/vaporwave.lua",
  },
})
vim.cmd([[colorscheme vaporwave]])

-- ~/.config/nvim/colors/vaporwave.lua
require("onedarkpro.config").set_theme("vaporwave")
require("onedarkpro").load()

when i try to set this up (the custom theme is pointing directly at a pywal cache directory), neovim simply tells me that theres no such theme, im pretty new to lua so i must be missing something, also is the path on the second snippet wrong? did you mean the path referenced in the "themes" table?

ill get back to working on it and ill let you guys know if i figure it it out. any help is appreciated :0 thanks
