If the Olive NLE Matt had corroborated with CinGG, he would have been
welcome and could have made major changes to update it instead of trying to
write from scratch.
This is of course related to color management in cingg. We currently do not have it, and nor myself nor other contributors so far can implement it.
I think proof of concept can be implemented as cingg plugin (utilizing either OCIO or LCMS2), but I honestly lack technicall skills for such job.
In turn I think I can try Olive on my currently-connected NetBSD/amd64 machine (so 32bit issues will not interfere).
