I searched music and didn't see any issues with what I'm looking for.

I was wondering if you'd be able to add support for somehow playing music at a certain page, and stopping at a certain page.
On some episodes on webtoons there's music that starts playing at a certain point, and this is the only open source reader that I know has a webtoon format. Since there's already music support, I figured this would be fine to request as well.

As you mentioned, currently, there is support for background music within the same folder, which was implemented specifically for Webtoons as well #149. At the moment, only one piece of music is played per folder/file, and it does not depend on the current page.

Could you send me a sample webtoon so I can see how it is implemented?

This is one I could find. I can look for more later on in the day that have a better example. Music in this one starts at a certain panel

I'll need it in a file format (CBR, CBZ, etc.), which is how it would be read in OpenComic, so I can see how the audio files are structured inside.

How are you currently importing the Webtoons into OpenComic? (For example, the one you already shared.)

I'm using a tool that downloads the images and forms a cbz. Unfortunately I don't know how the audio portion works on webtoons, and the tool I use doesn't work with audio.

Are you using webtoon-dl or Webtoon-Downloader?

You could open a pull request there. From what I've seen on webtoons.com, the music is implemented as follows, there's an array with all the tracks, and playImageUrl and stopImageUrl indicate the pages where each track should be played. If webtoon-dl/Webtoon-Downloader saved the audio files with the page/image where they should be played in the filename (For example 001-006.mp3) it wouldn't be very difficult to implement this in OpenComic.

I use gallery-dl. Which doesn't support music. I haven't tried the other downloaders. I'll open a request there to see about music being added.

I've just implemented it in 23aae8a.

For it to work, you need to have downloaded the files using the following configuration (Or something similar) in gallery-dl mikf/gallery-dl#8755 (comment)
