Older documentation pages can cause confusion #838

Prompted by https://forum.image.sc/t/extracting-metadata-from-cellsens-vsi-files/117574/3.

While our current RTD pages clearly warn if the latest version isn't being viewed (e. g. https://bio-formats.readthedocs.io/en/v7.3.1/), older pages that pre-date RTD and are not redirected have no such warning, e.g.:

These pages still show up in search engine results, and can easily cause confusion around which version is the most recent. Is there any reasonable way to add some sort of banner to these pages that points to the latest/stable RTD page?

I wasn't exactly sure where to capture this issue, so happy to move or split this issue into different repos if needed.
