Using pg_amqp to publish to a secure port #37

Hello, I am trying to get this extension to publish to a secure port (SSL) and have not had any luck. Is there any documentation I am missing, or have you done anything with this extension publishing to secure ports? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
