Description

Some variants of lvm microservice(e.g. llama-vision) needs to download data from internet during runtime, which prevents it to be run in either air-gapped environment or with readOnlyRootFilesystem security hardening settings(opea-project/GenAIInfra#815).

We need to fix this.

The request for air gap deployment is valid. Amounts of components will be impacted. While we will plan resources to do it, it's not a high priority for now. Please let us know if key OPEA users need to prioritize the implementation.
