Remove docs for API that aren't in the latest main update #1400
Description
I came across guard(), which would have been perfect for my use case, except it's not available in 1.2.0 (the latest determined by npm). This creates a confusing set of docs. Please remove all API that aren't available in the latest version, or at least mark them as beta.
